Children's Rights Day

November 20th is Children's Rights Day!  One of ACT's missions is to educate people about the rights that all children should have.  Please watch the following video for more information regarding this very important United Nations' Declaration.  

Watch for a future blog post of the paper chains being made by McCracken students, along with the paper people of the most important rights as voted on by each advisory!

Spaghetti Dinner Update! That's a lot of spaghetti....

We raised $1406 at the ACT Spaghetti Dinner for A Better Life for Kids!  What an amazing effort on the part of the District 73.5 community!  Thank you for making a difference in the lives of the children of Ghana!  Here's a video that was made by an ACT member to show what a difference you are making.

Spaghetti Dinner

Last night we had an amazing turnout at the Spaghetti Dinner benefiting A Better Life for Kids!  Thanks to all that came to eat, bought raffle tickets, volunteered or donated raffle prizes; this event would not be possible without you!  I am always amazed at the generosity of people, and I can't wait to let you know on Monday what our grand total was for the night!  For now, here's some pictures from the evening!
