Upcoming A.C.T. Events

Logo Design Contest:

The logo design contest is underway!  As designs come pouring in, we will be sifting through them to choose the ones that will be voted on for the final contest.  Thanks to all of you that have already turned in your logo!  All logos are due by January 22nd!

Hearts for Ghana:

Our second annual Hearts for Ghana valentine making festivities will take place on February 13th!  Please join us in the library from 3 to 4 for a fun afternoon of making valentines, eating snacks, and taking silly photos in the photo booth!  There will be a small entry fee and a separate fee for the photos!  Looking forward to seeing everyone there!

Leap for Ghana:

On February 28th, we will have our second annual Leap for Ghana concert.  This is an exciting night for the 8th grade choirs, as they get to show off their talent and raise money for a great cause!  Please put this date on your calendar.  It's a suggested $5 donation to get in, and snacks will be for sale too!  Another exciting addition will be a meet and greet with Patrick Nyarko of the Chicago Fire.  More details to follow about this!

Ms. Nizynski's 10th Trip to Ghana

Ms. Nizynski and her dad had an amazing trip to Ghana over winter break!  She was kind enough to share her pictures with us.  Check out all that they did while they were there, learn more about the culture, and see what needs still need to be addressed.  You will see pictures of the food they delivered to the orphanage, along with a chest freezer to store meat for the kids!
